 St Ouen's BayThis is an amazing beach. It stretches for almost the entire western side of Jersey and is a paradise of flat, pale sand and fantastic surfing waves. If I was a teenager or young twenty-something, I don't think I'd ever want to go home! It is the place to drink cool beers, play football, go sand-yachting, kite flying or surfing. MORE... |

St Ouen's Bay This is an amazing beach. It stretches for almost the entire western side of Jersey and is a paradise of flat, pale sand and fantastic surfing waves. If I was a teenager or young twenty-something, I don't think I'd ever want to go home! It is the place to drink cool beers, play football, go sand-yachting, kite flying or surfing. Swimming can be dangerous if you don't take notice of the warnings and flags. There are lots of cafes, bars and restaurants, but they are scattered along the length of the beach, so it doesn't seem over-developed or crowded. Places to eat include The Watersplash during the day, la Pulente,(pub), Ellie's (Indian restaurant,) Big Vern's (cunningly hidden behind the Discovery Apartments).
