 Portlet BayThis was one of our two favourite beaches on Jersey. You will either love it or hate it. There's not much in the way of "facilities" here - other than what nature has provided: a gorgeous beach, which you can only reach on foot, along a lovely wooded path down from the car park. It's quiet, sandy and sheltered. If you have a wheelchair or buggy to push, forget it. Likewise if you want a cafe or toilets on the beach. MORE... |

Portlet Bay This was one of our two favourite beaches on Jersey. You will either love it or hate it. There's not much in the way of "facilities" here - other than what nature has provided: a gorgeous beach, which you can only reach on foot, along a lovely wooded path down from the car park. It's quiet, sandy and sheltered. If you have a wheelchair or buggy to push, forget it. Likewise if you want a cafe or toilets on the beach. We loved it for its breath-taking beauty and peace.
