Gorey
Gorey is lovely. A picturesque harbour, lined with pubs, cafes, shops and overlooked by a castle. It is very popular with tourists but still a proper working fishing town. Some children next to us said that it looked like Balamory. The beach of Grouville to the south of Gorey is long, lovely and sandy and has a good range of water-sports, such as water skiing, banana boats and canoeing. Swimming is safe here, but the tide goes out a long way.

There is a huge car-park at the beach but it is limited to roadside parking at Gorey itself.
